Insurer offers savings for MultiCar households

29 December 2008 18:21

Households with multiple cars have been offered the chance to make substantial savings on their insurance premiums.

A new product from Admiral provides complete coverage for those homes which have more than one vehicle, while giving policy-holders the chance to save up to 23 per cent or more.

The insurer's MultiCar product also rewards each vehicle on the policy with an individual no claims bonus each year and removes the hassle of having to update several premiums at a time.

Sue Longthorn, managing director of Admiral, commented that as a result of an increasing number of young adults choosing to live with their parents, more homes than ever had multiple cars.

She added that by taking advantage of Admiral's MultiCar policy, households could save almost a quarter on their premiums, with the benefit of only having one renewal date.

Admiral was set up in 1993 with the aim of supplying car insurance to those motorists who typically pay more, including those aged under 35 years old and those who live in major cities.
