Insurer offers three months free for cars

Motorists have been offered the chance to cash-in on three months free insurance if they purchase online before December 10th.
Tesco is currently offering 12 months of insurance for the price of nine for those customers who own a Clubcard and buy before the December cut-off point.
Benefits of the retail giant's insurance deal include third party liability cover up to £20 million and an extended guarantee on repairs and claims.
Allan Burns, head of Tesco car insurance, said that while times were tough and running a car could prove expensive, by offering 12 months for the same price as nine the company could make car insurance affordable for everyone.
Customers who take advantage of the offer will also receive one Clubcard point for every £2 paid onto their premium.
Yesterday (October 27th), Tesco revealed that the number of claims for home content insurance tends to spike over the Halloween period.
