About the Life Insurance Provider

This is simply the company who insures your life. You would sign an agreement with them and pay them the premiums ie the monthly cost. You can either go direct to them or might find them through a life insurance specialist ie a broker

About the Monthly Cost

The Monthly cost is what you would have to pay every month in order to stay insured for £100,000. After 20 years, if you wanted to stay insured you would need to renegotiate a new life insurance deal. It would probably be more expensive because you'd be older and more likely to fall off your perch etc.

These monthly cost payments would be called premiums.
